How is your long weekend coming along? Are you relaxing and scrolling through all the amazing sales they’ve got going on? Me, too! It’s awesome to be able to snag some “end of season” sales and spruce up the wardrobe for the next couple months of cold!
Back in January I made a resolution to myself…that resolution? Amp up my Mommy Style. I think the past 3 years since I left Corporate I’ve spent 90% of the time in leggings or yoga pants. I’ve certainly embraced it because, hey, I’m rolling around playing on the floor with my kids all day. But honestly, I feel that I can maintain comfort and still look chic! I’m going to start posting my looks both on Corporate to Kiddos and on Instagram. I’m hoping to inspire some of you out there, too! Here’s my first attempt! 🙂
Back to the President’s Day Sales – Here is a PSA that Sole Society is having an AMAZING sale! Have you ever shopped Sole Society? They have tons of shoes, clothes and accessories that are so cute and pretty affordable – especially when they are on sale! Last week, I purchased these Sole Society Aileena Boots and received them on Friday. When I put these boots on I KNEW I had to post all about them. But you need to RUN to Sole Society and get a pair because they are 50% off and going fast!
These Sole Society Aileena Boots are so versatile! I styled them three ways and definitely will find wayyyyy more outfits in my closet to pair them with. How many shoes are that amazing?
Look 1 – Dressy Date Night
I don’t know what it is, but I’m in love with this outfit! Next date night I’m definitely going to wear it out! I paired my Sole Society Aileena Boots with my Black Leith Ruched Long Sleeve Dress. My color is sold out, but there is this Leith Ruched Long Sleeve Dress in Purple that is 60% off! At under $25 this dress would be perfect with these boots! There is also this blue version of the same dress that would be great! My Bauble Bar “Kew” Collar necklace (another super versatile piece I highly recommend!) topped off this look!
Look 2 – Cool and Casual With Jeans
This is an outfit I’d wear weekly. I love comfortable put together looks and this totally fits! I’m a huge fan of neutrals – they are just so crazy easy to mix and match and dress up and down with different accessories. This white sweater is sold out, but this Halogen Mock Neck Sweater is pretty similar and it’s only $35! I’m still wearing those Sole Society Aileena Boots and my BaubleBar Kew Collar Necklace…see you’ll definitely get use out of these pieces!
Ok, you may be thinking, “what about those jeans!?” I’m actually super excited to share the detail on these jeans…they ARE A STEAL! These jeans are under $20!!! Can you get over it? They are so comfortable and have a bit of stretch, but are a little higher waisted and give a little support in the tummy area. These are the Signature by Levi Strauss Women’s Totally Shaping Skinny Jeans and they come in a bunch of different styles and colors. Head on over and grab a pair for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
Look 3 – Casual Leggings and Tunic
Looking at these pictures I can’t decide my favorite look! This third look is something I can see for a day of errands or drinks with the girls. It’s super easy and sooooo comfortable, but totally put together! The exact ivory tunic I’m wearing is no longer available, but this Everleigh Roll-Tab Tunic is almost identical and only $26 (that’s 50% 0ff!!). It’s light weight and can be accessorized by a scarf or blazer for chilly weather or this BP. Gold Bar necklace I was wearing -but you can’t see – for spring! FYI, the BP. Gold Bar necklace is literally $14 and I’ve received SO MANY compliments on it! It’s one you should add to your accessory line up for sure. Ooops, I almost forgot my leggings! The Nordstrom Go-To High Waist Leggings are literally my favorite leggings of the bunch. They are high-waisted (see a theme here? 🙂 and hug you in the tummy area! Such a great deal at only $29!!!
I hope you love these Sole Society Aileena boots as much as I do. They are for sure going to be a staple in my wardrobe for the remainder of the winter and into the spring! They are so cute and their taupe-gray color is such a great neutral and will match so many outfits. In case you’re wondering, I am typically a size 7.5 shoe, but I sized up in these shoes because I’ve got a wider foot and these boots appeared to be narrow in the toe. I’m happy with the size 8!
