Family Friendly Meal Plan for the week of November 5, 2018

Hi Friends!

Oh. My. Goodness.  How is it November?  Yikes!  This year is flying by so quickly!  I’m hoping to get some de-cluttering and decorating done on our home so we can enjoy the holidays stress free!  Yes, I’m over here laughing too 😉

So on to this week’s meal plan…as usual I’ve tossed in quick, easy, family friendly recipes.  There are a couple of repeats from past meal plans, but really the best ones that my family loves!  I am definitely into trying new recipes, but as my husband says I’ve got my “repertoire”!  🙂  Well, without further ado, here is the weekly meal plan!  I truly hope your family enjoys these meals as much as mine does!  Please follow me on Pinterest for meal plan recipes by week!

 

Meal Plan:

Monday –  If you follow my recipes, you’ll notice this recipe time and time again.  Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup from Budget Bytes.  There are a few reasons why: 1) it is UNBELIEVABLY good 2) it is INCREDIBLY easy and 3) it is pretty fast!  You can also modify this for the Instant Pot and it will be ready in under 30 minutes!  You may also want to make extra…it’s perfect to freeze!

Tuesday –  Weight Watchers Beef and Broccoli from Simple Nourished Living is another super yummy recipe!  I was craving this recipe and it certainly filled that hole of Asian takeout.  This recipe is SO GOOD and healthy you’ll want to have it time and time again.  Serve it up with some brown rice, or even cauliflower rice, and you’ve got yourself an amazing dinner!

Weight Watchers Beef and Broccoli

Wednesday –  Craving some yummy tex mex?  This recipe literally took about five minutes to throw together and received rave reviews in my family!  These Shredded Chicken Tacos from Recipe Diaries are scrumptious!

I improvised and made this recipe in the Instant Pot and they came out AMAZING!  I served this with some cilantro lime rice, guacamole and brown beans!  It was a super satisfying and totally delicious meal.  We had this meal with my parents, so I made two pounds of chicken.  I didn’t change anything else, just added two pounds of chicken to the Instant Pot with the ingredients in the recipe.  Set the Instant Pot to poultry for 20 minutes and the chicken was fall apart tender!

Thursday –  Leftovers!  This week was another one where we had SO. MANY. LEFTOVERS.  I’m hoping you all have the same because it’s amazing to have a night off from cooking 😉

Friday – Pizza from our favorite local pizza place! Or try this grilled pizza recipe!
