Family Friendly Meal Plan for the week of June 25, 2018

Tuesday – I’m feeling a little adventurous this week and I’d like to attempt my own veggie burgers. I found this recipe for Butternut Black Bean Burgers from Peasandcrayons.com and it looks delicious! I’m going to toss together some home made roasted french fries and dinner is served!
Wednesday – I’ll be serving some grilled steak tips along side these Quinoa Cakes with Parmesan from fifteenspatulas.com. A simple salad of mixed greens drizzled with some balsamic vinegar and olive oil will round out this healthy, yummy dinner!
Thursday – A couple months back I was flipping through my Fitbit feed and came across this recipe for Garlic Butter Turkey Meatballs with Lemon Zucchini Noodles from eatwell101.com and I got SO EXCITED! I love pasta as much as the next person (I think it was a prerequisite to marry an Italian 😉 ) but sometimes it is just too heavy. I bought this spiralizer at the beginning of the year and I LOVE IT! It’s very simple to use and makes a nice size noodle. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend it – plus it doesn’t take up a lot of real estate in your kitchen! Anyway, this will be a pretty complete meal in and of itself with protein and veggies, so that is our dinner for Thursday!
Friday – Pizza from our favorite local pizza place! Or try my grilled pizza recipe!
